Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Canada is seeking a Shipping and Receiving team member for North Star Windows & Doors. The role focuses on unloading/loading, inventory, and preparing deliveries with safety and accuracy at the core.

Expect a straight afternoon shift (3:45 PM – 1:15 AM) with a 2-week dayshift training period. Starting pay is $23.35/hr with progression to $23.65 at 3 months and $23.95 at 6 months, plus a $1.00/hr afternoon premium and an overtime policy beyond 42 hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Repetitive heavy lifting required.
• Ability to work under variable weather conditions.
• Extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product into warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Identify, count, sort, pick, package, unpackage, stock and move product in warehouse.
• Load product for customer deliveries in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Complete and maintain required customer delivery paperwork.
• Comply with all material handling company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a safe, orderly and efficiently operating warehouse.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as required.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding product deliveries.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including maintaining a clean work area.
