Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring for a warehouse associate in Milton, ON. You will manage order flow from receipt to picking, ensuring accurate receiving, stocking and shipping while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform high-reach picking, and work a Monday–Friday 6:30AM–3:00PM schedule. The role requires physical endurance and teamwork to support North America’s food distribution network.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• End Rider experience mandatory; high reach required; training if no experience.
• Computer proficiency with MS Word/Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and move up to 250 lbs with a dolly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log products; tag and verify accuracy and sanitation.
• Report PO, pallet and case counts to supervisor.
• Record counts for monitoring, invoicing and service levels.
• Restock pick zones and prep the warehouse for order picking.
• Retrieve products per customer orders; handle special orders.
• Inspect trailers pre/post receiving and maintain a safe workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to warehouse safety and security.

Primary Responsibilities

It all flows through you. As a member of our warehouse team, you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you’ll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will safely and efficiently move and track all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. This includes performing a variety of tasks such as; offloading, stocking, selecting, and replenishing products to ensure that the warehouse is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and quality.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Receiving products throughout the warehouse; logging in RFD and ensuring product is tagged.
• Verifying accuracy, quality, and sanitation of products received
• Collecting associated receiving and billing documentation, and delivering to Accounts Payable.
• Reporting accurate P.O.’s, pallet counts and case counts to Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Entering controlled item Counts into for monitoring, invoicing, and service level maintenance.
• Restocking selecting zones and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection when needed.
• Retrieving product in accordance with printed customer orders.
• Selecting special orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list, and customer demands.
• Consolidating merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Performing thorough inspections of all trailers before, during, and after receiving the loads.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• Maintaining orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Logging product and vehicle inspections, as well as other inspections.
• Contributing to the safety and security of the warehouse environment.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• End Rider experience mandatory. High reach will be a requirement. Successful candidate without experience will get the opportunity to complete a theory training after 30 days of hire, and a practical assessment after 60 days. Position will be conditional on the successful completion of these assessments.
• Computer proficient with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry totes and bundles up to 30 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs. occasionally, push up to 50 lbs., and move a dolly loaded with up to 250 lbs.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently and be able to drive for a significant period of time.

Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within assigned territory.
