Job summary

Agropur in Bedford, Nova Scotia is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving and packing for field shipments. The role requires the ability to pick, organize and pack goods with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping & receiving duties including picking, organizing and packing jobs for the field.
• Perform warehouse functions: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment.
• Work in a safe manner following good manufacturing practices.
• Monitor and report inventory losses.

How You Will Contribute

• Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
• Perform work activities safely and in accordance to good manufacturing practices.
• Monitor and report inventory losses

What Will Enable You To Contribute

• Available to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays;
• must have the Air Brake Endorsement certification
• Capacity to work in a 0 to 4 degrees celsius environement;
• Capacity to lift and handle 50 pounds;
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset;
• Must be able to obtain an air brakes endorsement;
