Job summary

Wonderbrands in Sudbury, ON is hiring Shipper/Receiver to join the local team. This on-site role involves loading/unloading trailers, order picking, and supporting the service team to ensure accurate, timely, and quality customer orders.

You will perform housekeeping, inspect trailers and ingredients for compliance, receive deliveries, and maintain logs with attention to food safety. A flexible weekday/weekend schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labour or shipping/receiving, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to health protocols.
• Good listening and communication to work with the team.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Flexible availability including weekends and weekdays.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete paperwork accurately.

Our Sudbury team is looking for Shippers & Receivers!

Position: Shipper / Receiver

Location: 695 Martindale Road. Sudbury, ON. P3E 4H6

Shift: Must have flexible availability throughout the week (weekdays and weekends)

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers (shipping and receiving product)


• Order picking for various customers


• Working as part of the service team to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and product quality of customer orders


• Housekeeping which includes sweeping and throwing out garbage


• Complete visual inspection of trailers and incoming ingredients to ensure it is within compliance when offloading


• Inspect and receive all deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is correct and perform inventory counts


• Complete all paperwork including receiving logs and conduct food safety checks on trailer

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labour, production or shipping / recieving role (even better if in food manufacturing)


• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic


• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area;


• Work in a safe and conscientious manner


• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues


• You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
