Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for our Barrie Construct location. The role involves assisting the parts department with shipping and receiving of goods and coordinating loading activities at the site.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean work area while operating various heavy equipment as needed. This is a full-time position at our Oro-Medonte location in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physically fit to manually handle all goods and materials.
• Good communication and attendance are essential.
• Ability to perform duties outdoors in adverse conditions (heat/cold/slippery).

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and sea containers with finished goods in teams.
• Inspect crates and bundles for damage during loading.
• Assist in inventory counting as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Load machines on/off trailers and handle large/small material.
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts.

Brandt is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver - Shack for our Barrie Construct location.

This position is responsible for assisting the parts department with the general shipping and receiving of goods.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Work in teams to load trucks and sea containers with finished goods
• Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process
• Assist in counting of inventory as required
• Keep area clean and in order at all times
• Load machines on and off trailers, large and small material handling etc.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment from excavators, wheel loaders to small forklifts
• Other duties as assigned
