Job summary

Brandt is hiring a Shipper/Receiver at our Stoney Creek facility to support the parts and warehouse operations. You will assist with loading trucks and sea containers, inspect shipments, maintain organization, and help with inventory controls while complying with safety standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and operate heavy equipment safely. Forklift experience is considered an asset and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to perform work outside in adverse conditions (heat/cold, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to load trucks and sea containers efficiently, ensuring timely shipment of finished goods.
• Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process to maintain product quality and prevent losses.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Assist in counting inventory accurately as required to support inventory control and reporting.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and skillfully to facilitate loading and unloading tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to report issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for assisting both the parts and service departments with the general shipping and receiving of goods.
