Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for our Vernon Construction & Forestry location. The role supports the parts department with shipping and receiving of goods and requires physical work in a team setting.

Opportunities include growth within a growing company, competitive wages, and a focus on safety and teamwork. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

  • Must be capable of working under minimum supervision.
  • Must be physically fit to manually handle all goods and products as required.
  • Must have good communication skills and good attendance.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Work in teams to loading trucks and sea containers with finished goods.
  • Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process.
  • Assist in counting of inventory as required.
  • Keeps area clean and in order at all times.
  • Must have ability to perform work outside in adverse conditions (heat/cold/slippery).
  • Forklift experience would be an asset but is not required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Brandt is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver for our Vernon Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for assisting the parts department with the general shipping and receiving of goods.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Work in teams to loading trucks and sea containers with finished goods
