A leading company in innovative technologies is seeking a Shipper/Receiver in Mississauga to manage customer equipment and service parts efficiently. Your role:
The Shipper/Receiveris an important role to ensure customer equipment, service parts, and new product sales are received, handled and delivered using the most cost-effective means. You will work with both sales and service to meet the daily business demands. You will work on-Site at our Mississauga office and will report directly to the Customer Service Manager. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. If you enjoy working in a Customer Service setting then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Build relations with internal/external customers in handling their queries, complaints, requests
Develop relationships with all delivery/shipping vendors to cultivate a working partnership to benefit our business
Meet drivers and receive all items being delivered
Identify destination for each package and route to the correct receiver
Package all items for shipment and prepare paperwork
Schedule parcel pickups and coordinate all shipments
Manage inventory for repair shop and notify team leader of orders required or inventory is in stock
Maintain shipping procedures and guidelines
Work with the Sales team to manage select storage locations in SAP
Manage inventory and goods movement for all demo equipment
To succeed you will need:
Experience in a service-related field with customer interaction will be an asset
Experience boxing and packaging custom equipment
Asset tracking software experience
Working knowledge of UPS World Ship software
SAP knowledge or equivalent experience
Completion of OSSD
Logistics training and knowledge of international shipments
Committed to supporting customers
