Job summary

Portland Tractor Inc. is seeking a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our Grand Prairie, Alberta warehouse. This onsite role handles all shipping and receiving of parts with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and timely operations.

You will prepare shipping documents, respond to Sales requests, load shipments, schedule carriers, track orders, maintain parts inventory, and process returns. The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 lbs, has a valid driver's license, and works well both independently and

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents including BOLs, packing lists, and invoices.
• Respond to requests from the Sales team.
• Load shipments to carrier trucks.
• Schedule shipments through courier sites.
• Track all orders in transit.
• Maintain parts and supplies; receive parts and machine lots.
• Perform necessary lifting and handling of materials.
• Process returns.

The Opportunity

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Grand Prairie, Alberta. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for all the shipping and receiving of parts in our warehouse.

As the Shipper/Receiver your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing shipping documents including BOL’s, packing lists, and custom invoices
• Responding to requests from the Sales team
• Loading shipments to carrier trucks
• Scheduling shipments through various courier sites
• Tracking all orders in transit
• Maintaining parts and supplies and receiving parts and machine lots
• Perform the necessary lifting and handling of materials as required
• Processing returns

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Valid driver's license
• Previous experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift operator ticket is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
• A commitment to follow all safe work procedures

The base pay range for this role is: $19.00 to $28.56 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Grand Prairie, Alberta.
