About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Delta, B.C. This role will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and is able to move goods effectively, while maintaining an organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring a high level of accuracy in packaging;
• Collaborate with the order fulfillment team to ensure timely processing of orders;
• Prepare packages for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation;
• Inspect received goods for quality and report any damages or discrepancies;
• Maintain a clean and organized service department and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What you Bring

The ideal candidate for the Shipper/Receiver role is organized and can work and communicate well with others to meet deadlines. You have the ability to adapt on the fly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while understanding the importance of accuracy, credibility, and consistency.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role within a warehouse setting is preferred;
• Strong organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing time and priorities;
• Rental experience would be considered an asset;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
