Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO, with over 400 employees locally and over 1,200 employees worldwide.

Job Summary

Complete shipping and receiving activities in accordance with standard operating procedures or special procedures, as directed.

Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

• Perform receiving inspection on incoming goods (may include visual, physical, and dimensional inspections).
• Verify all received goods against master pick lists, packing lists, or purchase orders.
• Segregate newly received products or materials until they pass inspection and certification.
• Ensure received products are properly identified before storage.
• Package and ship goods according to operating procedures.
• Report unsafe practices or situations to a supervisor or manager.
• Handle goods carefully to prevent injury.
• Use carrier portals to complete online waybills and schedule shipments.
• Forward copies of packing lists and waybills to the front office after shipping.
• Load/unload trucks and transfer materials using forklifts safely.
• Complete customs documentation for international shipments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

General Maintenance & Cleaning

• Maintain cleanliness of the shipping office, area, and employee entrance walkway.
• Empty garbage cans and manage snow removal as needed.

Education & Training

• Grade 10 O.S.S. or equivalent.
• Above-average computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license for deliveries.
• Forklift operation license.
• At least two weeks of supervisory training at Fike.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
