Job Details

Location: Hannon

Shifts: Weekly rotating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)

Broad Purpose

To safely operate the tow motor and accurately complete associated paperwork to prepare and load goods for timely shipment to customers, including receiving incoming materials/goods according to the company's quality policy.

General Job Duties
  • Operate tow motor safely with a valid permit to load/unload trailers and trucks
  • Verify counts on production copies against actual products
  • Load trailers to maximize space utilization and unload as required
  • Document and handle damaged goods appropriately
  • Conduct visual inspections for non-conformances
  • Follow all procedures and report issues to supervisors
  • Perform daily checks on tow motor
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Safety Responsibilities
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures
  • Complete daily equipment checklists
  • Follow dock safety protocols
  • Report hazards, incidents, and injuries immediately
  • Maintain a safe environment and use PPE properly
  • Adhere to all safety and company rules, keep exits clear, and support a harassment-free workplace
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 10 education
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience an asset
  • Machine operation and organizational skills
  • Good communication, flexibility for rotating shifts, team-oriented, self-motivated
