Job summary

Quantum in Brampton, ON is hiring a detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to support our warehouse operations. You will handle outgoing shipments, verify materials, and maintain inventory accuracy while following company procedures and client requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in shipping/receiving, are willing to get Forklift/Reach Truck certified and TDG training, and can lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in shipping or receiving in an industrial setting.
• Willing to become Forklift and Reach Truck certified.
• Willing to obtain the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Locate, weigh, stage, and load outgoing items as directed.
• Operate warehouse equipment including the Forklift and Reach Truck.
• Verify materials against work orders for accuracy in quantity, destination, and routing.
• Perform cycle counts and prepare shipments using appropriate containers and packing methods.
• Unload incoming shipments and move materials to designated areas.
• Conduct initial inspections and document incoming materials per company procedures.
• Identify and report damaged or incorrect shipments.
• Complete Receiving/Express lot documentation based on project/lot numbers.
• Register and discover materials following company policies.
• Unbox, sort, and track inventory.
• Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Position Details:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Shipper/Receiver to join our operations team in Brampton! In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient movement of materials in our facility, ensuring accuracy, care, and compliance with company procedures and client requirements .Ideally you enjoy working with inventory, equipment, and logistics as well!

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with physical tasks and operating warehouse machinery
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
