The Shipper and Receiver ships, receives, and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from an establishment.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver parts to customers
2. Pick-up and deliver parts for service and parts department
3. Receive shipments from carriers
4. Maintain stock levels in the main parts department, including overstock from the warehouse
5. Determine shipping methods and prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, customs forms, and invoices
6. Assemble containers and crates, record contents, pack goods, and affix shipping labels
7. Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks
8. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, record shortages and damages, and report to Parts Manager
9. Unpack, code, and store goods appropriately
10. Maintain manual or computerized records of shipments and inventory
11. Operate forklift or other equipment as needed
12. Verify all packing slips against shipped parts for accuracy
13. Ship parts returns and PRs within 1 week of authorization
14. Assemble, check, and ship core returns
15. Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills related to workload, time management, and prioritization
• Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Conflict resolution skills

Compensation Rate

$19.40 - $21.56 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and skill level.
