Job summary

Roofmart in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a Shipper and Receiver to safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory. The role requires forklift certification and the ability to lift 80–100 lbs. Prior shipping/receiving and warehouse experience are preferred, along with strong customer service skills.

Salary ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 22 per hour with full benefits. This position is a replacement, onsite at Roofmart locations across Canada, and offers a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift 80-100 lbs.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
• Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication
• Assisting as required with metal shop operations
• Complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required
