As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. You will lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the delivery of the Starbucks Experience through legendary customer service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming environment. You will model Starbucks' guiding principles and be part of a company recognized as a great place to work.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
  • Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events to keep store operations standard and set a positive example.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the manager to respond appropriately and create a welcoming 'Third Place' environment during each shift.
  • Assist in training new partners with positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Provide feedback on partner performance during shifts.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing morale and performance issues and communicating them to the manager.
  • Create a positive learning environment with clear, timely, and respectful coaching to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver legendary customer service, acting with a 'customer comes first' attitude and connecting with customers.
  • Respond to customer needs and develop positive relationships by understanding individual motivations and concerns.
  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
  • Follow Starbucks policies for cash handling, safety, and security to ensure partner safety.
  • Manage cash operations responsibly and ensure proper practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with baristas to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently provide quality beverages, food, and products according to standards.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments using organizational tools and collaboration with the manager.
  • Utilize operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
