Job summary

MSM Restaurants o/a McDonald's PEI in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and staff. The role offers an hourly wage of $18.40 to $19.40 based on experience, with full-time hours and immediate start.

The incumbent will supervise staff, ensure health and safety compliance, maintain records, train team members, handle customer requests and balance daily transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Education: post secondary diploma or equivalent.
• Language: English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Keep record of the quantities of food used
• Provide staff training
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Resolve issues including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Record and balance daily transactions
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
