Job summary

Läderach in Richmond, BC is seeking a Part-Time Key Holder (Shift Lead) to champion the brand and lead the in-store experience. The role combines customer service leadership with hands-on store tasks and shift supervision.

The ideal candidate brings 1+ year retail experience, strong communication, reliability, and a passion for chocolate. You will train teammates, support merchandising, and uphold food safety and brand standards.

A Part-Time Laderach Key Holder (Shift Lead)is a brand champion who is passionate about providing a wonderful overall in-store experience. The ideal Key Holder exudes strong leadership traits and aims to build a career in retail management.

Pay: $21 Hourly

What you can expect

• Delivering an outstanding customer experience, as well as a similar environment for the inhouse team
• Providing training and/or helping Store Associates to always ensure that production goals are met, including product-finishing projects
• Leading various in-store tasks during each shift, exemplifying the store and brand standards
• Ensuring the movement on the sales floor is flowing effectively
• Helping ensure product merchandising is done accurately
• Helping to lead the follow-through of all food safety protocols
• Targeting sales objectives and helping to achieve store compliance and loss prevention standards
• Participating in team meetings to discuss goals, progress and topics in need of improvement
• Other role-related duties as assigned by the Store Manager

What we expect from you

• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or similar fast-paced, customer-minded environment, with increasing levels of responsibility

Physical Requirements:

• Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need to have physical stamina to remain active and stand for long hours, often walking or standing in a fast-paced environment.
• This position requires the ability to move quickly between tasks, assist multiple customers at once, or handle unexpected changes (like restocking or re-organizing displays).
• Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized.
• Employees may be required to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize or stock products.
• Some retail positions require employees to maintain cleanliness in the store, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping down displays.
• Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching.
• Requires the ability to lift 15-40 pounds.
