Interior health is looking for a Permanent Part-Time Shift Coordinator DC2 to join the team at the Royal Inland Hospital, located at in Kamloops, BC.

Shift Type: Days and nights, rotating - 06:45 to 19:00, 18:45 to 07:00

Days off: rotating

About The Role

The Shift Coordinator practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The Shift Coordinator is responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts. Acts as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization. The Shift Coordinator is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.
