Reporting to the Director, Customer Solutions & Quality, the SHEQ Engineer will play an important role in maintaining and continuously improving Next Hydrogen’s safety, health and quality programs.
This is a broad, hands-on role suited to an experienced quality professional who enjoys working across both the shop floor and technical systems. You will oversee product inspection and quality processes, lead nonconformance and corrective action activities, support our ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems, and contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives.
You will also provide technical and day-to-day leadership to our QC Inspectors and work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Service to ensure our products and processes meet applicable quality, safety and customer requirements.

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical quality background who can confidently take ownership of a broad SHEQ portfolio. Ideally, you bring:
A post‑secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Materials Engineering, Engineering Technology, QA/QC, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with an OSSD combined with significant relevant experience and QA/QC certifications will also be considered.
