Job summary

CAE is seeking an I.T Technologist to support creation, organization, and maintenance of SharePoint environments across programs. You will ensure content is structured, searchable, accessible, and governed throughout the project lifecycle.

The role covers site administration, information governance, user support, collaboration, reporting, and continuous improvement across Microsoft 365 tools, with a hybrid work model in Canada.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT/information management or related field.
• 1–3 years supporting SharePoint Online and/or Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with document repositories, records management, or content administration.
• Experience with Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SharePoint Online and On-Premises sites, pages, libraries and lists.
• Upload, organize, classify and archive project documentation.
• Establish and maintain folder structures, metadata and content types.
• Apply naming conventions and records management practices.
• Ensure content accuracy, currency and alignment with program requirements.
• Support configuration and administration of SharePoint Online sites.
• Create and maintain site pages, navigation, news posts and communications.
• Manage user permissions and access requests per policy.
• Assist with audit and accreditation activities requiring traceability.
• Develop user guides and training documentation; deliver training sessions.
• Promote SharePoint best practices across project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify content management requirements.
