Job summary

The Government of Alberta (GoA) invites applicants for a DevOps Specialist to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using Power Platform tools as part of the 2016 migration project.

This role supports CCS in migrating, archiving, or decommissioning sites, implements ALM pipelines, and ensures GoA security and policy compliance while delivering scalable, cost‑effective MS 365 solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint environments.
• Experience migrating SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online and modernizing forms/workflows.
• Familiarity with ALM practices within Power Platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable SharePoint Online solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Implement ALM pipelines and ensure compliance with GoA policies and security standards.
