Canada Goose is seeking a Sewing Floor Service Person in Winnipeg to coordinate and support daily production across sewing, down filling, examining, cleaning, and packing operations. You will work under the Production Supervisor to ensure operators have supplies and stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities include reviewing loading schedules, distributing work, maintaining cleanliness, and handling trims and panels to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and apparel is assets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good command of the English language and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Review the line loading schedule daily with the supervisor to understand day-to-day tasks.
• Review the job sequence and specifications with the supervisor before starting production for each order.
• Take ownership to ensure continuous work is supplied to the section.
• Communicate with the supervisor if operators will run out of work and distribute tasks fairly.
• Notify the supervisor of any line issues or machine repair needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized department and manage cutwork supplies.
• Responsible for moving panels/garments for recut/replacement and reintegrating them to stay on schedule.
• Transfer completed work to the next department.
• Take ownership of trims and threads and return them to central storage.
• Move the cut goods trolley from bundlers to the line.
