Job summary

Canada Goose is seeking a Sewing Floor Service Person in Toronto to coordinate operators, ensure supplies, and meet daily production goals across sewing, down filling, examining, cleaning and packing steps.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, balancing workload, communicating changes, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area while handling trims, threads and relaying information to the supervisor. Background in manufacturing and apparel is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and apparel preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical understanding.
• Good command of English and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Review daily loading schedule with supervisor to plan tasks.
• Ensure continuous work is supplied to the section and assign tasks fairly.
• Notify supervisor of issues (machine repairs, shortages).
• Maintain a clean and organized department, including cutwork and supplies.
• Move and reintegrate cut goods and trims as needed to stay on schedule.
