Job summary

This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:
  • Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings
  • Operate power tools, drills, torque tools, impact guns, and manual hand tools
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility
  • Perform tasks in assembly, nameplates, labeling, backflushing, packaging, picking, and computer-based operations
  • Participate in the development and administration of company policies and procedures
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial, technical, and proprietary information
  • Improve customer and supplier focus
  • Support organizational quality standards
  • Provide training to other team members as needed
  • Perform other job functions as required by the department supervisor when set-up duties are not available.

  • Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Be mechanically inclined.
  • Willingness to work overtime after hours/on weekends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is an asset.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills: experience with ERP systems is an asset.Ability to train and support team members.
