Job Summary:

The Set-up Technician - Molding & Validation is responsiblefor the efficient and precise setup, adjustment and maintenance of injection molding machines. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth transition between production runs and validations, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the overall success of our operations. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health & safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures

Job Details:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, Saturday's when required.

Qualification:

• Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the capability of recognizing and solving problems
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
• Must be able to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
• Capable of being certified to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane (installing molds of up to100,000 lbs)

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs
• Must be able to lift heavy material (ex. up to 35 lbs.)
• Must be able to climb/ work at heights
• Exposure to noise
• Must be able to work all shifts
• Occasional overtime and travel may be required
