About this opportunity

We are building a next-generation engineering and operations ecosystem where AI serves as a collaborative tool — supporting teams in designing, building, testing, and running large-scale systems. This role is well-suited for early-career professionals who enjoy transforming ambiguous challenges into practical, AI-driven solutions and integrating them into real-world workflows. Based in Toronto, this is an experienced-level position (early career).

What you will do
  • Develop AI-assisted software development and testing automation
  • Build AI agents for operational workflows, including triage, remediation, and knowledge lookup
  • Support observability, incident analysis, and root cause analysis acceleration
  • Optimize workflows using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and tool-using agents
  • Build evaluation systems, monitoring tools, and guardrails for AI systems
  • Plan and implement product configuration and integration work
  • Enhance documentation and operational runbooks using AI
  • Prepare system, module, and acceptance tests
  • Apply structured problem-solving and independent execution in ambiguous situations
  • Continuously acquire new knowledge through self-directed learning and experimentation
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Communicate clearly, articulating reasoning and simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences
The skills you bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Typically, 2-8 years of relevant experience. Candidates with additional experience can apply
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and basic software testing
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts: regression, classification, time-series analysis, and transformers
  • Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn or TensorFlow
  • Understanding of MLOps concepts: experiment tracking, model versioning, reproducibility, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring
  • Familiarity with LLMOps concepts: prompt and version management, offline/online evaluation, and grounding versus hallucination fundamentals
  • Knowledge of AgentOps concepts: tool-based agents, orchestration versus autonomy, state management, and auditability
  • Understanding of fine-tuning concepts: when to fine-tune versus use RAG, LoRA/PEFT basics, and overfitting/forgetting risks
  • Knowledge of RAG architectures (preferred)
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen (preferred)
