Position: ServiceNow Developer
Interview Mode: Virtusa Internal, Client L1, Client L2, In-Person at client location for final discussion.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience building and developing ServiceNow applications and third-party integrations.
- Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models.
- Knowledge of database concepts, SQL, and query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in distributed systems.
- Experience with delegated development, Entitlements, Flow Designer, decision tables, workspace development, and customizations.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration patterns and APIs.
- Knowledge of ATF, Unit, and Functional Testing.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and create solutions independently.
- Active participation within and among globally distributed teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large datasets.
- Collaborative mindset, open to feedback.
Skills Desired:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python, especially on Unix/Linux.
- AngularJS and Node.js experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.
- Experience with web application UI and usability concepts.
- Understanding of secure software development, especially in cloud environments.
- ITIL or DevOps experience is a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
