Birch Mountain Enterprises is seeking an experienced Service Writer for our Fort McKay Incubator Park location. You will coordinate daily maintenance shop operations, manage work orders, and communicate with Management to optimize service delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of Service Writer and administration experience, strong Heavy-Duty and Automotive knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance software. Apply to join a dedicated team on Fort McKay reserve land.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Service Writer experience.
• 3-5 years Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge in Heavy Duty and Automotive Mechanics.
• Minimum class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• OSSA and CSTS Certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Maintenance software experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance shop operations and ensure a steady flow of work.
• Assist with scheduling of Maintenance in the field and in the shop.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Optimize maintenance processes for customer satisfaction.
• Create and update work orders with job details and categorize by repair type.
• Train Technicians on the work order system.
• Coordinate between shop and Parts Technician for parts delivery.
• Generate reports to Management, including downtime.
