Job summary

South Country Equipment, a family-owned John Deere dealer with a network across southern Saskatchewan, is seeking a service writer in Raymore, SK. You will be the service manager's right hand, organizing and completing repair work orders to maximize shop efficiency.

You will prepare service quotes, interact professionally with customers, and support both warranty and internal orders. The role offers teamwork, growth, and the opportunity to contribute to innovation in agriculture.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of service writing or equipment dealer experience.
• Self-motivated and customer-service driven.
• Understanding of farm equipment and Saskatchewan agriculture.
• Above-average computer aptitude.
• Strong organization and communication abilities.
• Background in farming is an asset.
• Team player who works well in a group.

What you'll do

Our service writer is the service manager's right hand. You will be an integral part of ensuring the shop is operating at maximum efficiency by organizing and managing service work orders in a way to ensure minimal downtime. You will be tasked with building efficiencies and opening up capacity in the service department by streamlining administrative work. Your duties will include:
