We are headquartered in Belgium, employ approximately 1200 staff, and operate in over 150 airports across 18 countries in Europe, Asia Pacific, and the United States.

TCR Americas is expanding its global footprint, with rapid growth in our new North American operations. We are currently hiring Diesel/GSE Technicians at our Vancouver, BC workshop.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Diesel/GSE Technician, you will report through our chain of command and have opportunities for growth and promotion. Your base will be our Vancouver workshop. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal availability of vehicles and installations to meet our customers' operational needs.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

You will be responsible for:

1. Diagnosis, adjustments, and repair of vehicles, including electrical, brake, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other electrical repairs such as replacing switches.
2. Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance and inspections independently, in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements.
3. Utilizing TCR’s newly implemented ERP system to complete reports, document findings, and record repairs to minimize customer issues and enhance asset availability.
4. Participating actively in TCR’s OSHA process by understanding and adhering to OSHA policies and procedures, reporting unsafe situations, near misses, and suggesting improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Resides close to the nominated workshop.
• Holds a valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred but not required.
• Provides own hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tooling and diagnostics.
• Has good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Understands critical safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Is eager to progress, a team player, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Displays integrity, adheres to company policies, and works well in a team.
• Proficient in using mobile devices and applications.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
