TCR Americas is expanding its global footprint, with rapid growth in North America. We are currently hiring Diesel/GSE Technicians at our workshop in Vancouver, BC.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Diesel/GSE Technician, you will report through our chain of command, with potential for growth and promotion. Your base will be our Vancouver workshop. Your main goal will be to ensure the optimal availability of vehicles and installations to meet customer operational requirements.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

You will be responsible for:

1. Diagnosis, adjustments, and repair of vehicles, including electrical, brake, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other electrical repairs such as replacing switches.
2. Carrying out independent preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections following manufacturer and customer requirements.
3. Utilizing TCR’s newly implemented ERP system to complete reports, document findings, and repairs, reducing customer issues and enhancing asset availability.
4. Actively participating in TCR’s OSHA processes by understanding, complying with policies and procedures, and reporting unsafe situations, near misses, and improvement ideas.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Resides near the nominated workshop location.
• Holds a valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred but not required.
• Owns personal hand tools; TCR provides specialized tooling and diagnostics.
• Has good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Understands critical safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Has a desire to progress, is a team player, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrates a solid work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Upholds integrity and adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Proficient in using mobile devices and applications.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
