Job Description

As a Service Technician Lead at Sport Chek, you have a passion for sports and an active lifestyle. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Service Shop, including customer service, sales, loss prevention, and product servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets.
  2. Complete all documentation according to Sport Chek standards.
  3. Use, care for, and maintain tools safely and correctly.
  4. Assemble and disassemble various types of bicycles.
  5. Perform crank arm replacements, change derailleurs, overhaul headsets, and check/replace chains.
  6. Mount, wax, and tune skis and snowboards.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Mechanically inclined; enjoy fixing and repairing things.
  • Previous experience in a bike shop or in a service shop repairing skis and snowboards.
  • Passion for sports and a drive to inspire others to be active.
Educational Level

High school diploma or current enrollment in high school.

Experience Level

Intermediate.
