Job Description

As a Service Technician Lead at Sport Chek, you should have a passion for sports and lead an active lifestyle. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Service Shop, including customer service, sales, loss prevention, and product servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets.
  2. Ensure all documentation is completed according to Sport Chek standards.
  3. Ensure all tools are used safely, correctly, and are well maintained.
  4. Assemble/disassemble various types of bicycles.
  5. Perform crank arm replacements, derailleur adjustments, headset overhauls, and chain checks/replacements.
  6. Mount, wax, and tune skis and snowboards.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Mechanically inclined; enjoy fixing and repairing things.
  • Previous experience in a bike shop and/or a service shop repairing skis and snowboards.
  • Passion for sports and a drive to inspire others to be active.
Educational Level

High school diploma or current enrollment in high school.

Experience Level

Intermediate.
