Job Description

As a Service Technician Lead at Sport Chek, you have a passion for sports and live an active lifestyle. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Service Shop, including customer service, sales, loss prevention, and product servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets
  2. Ensure all documentation is completed as per the Sport Chek standards
  3. Ensure all tools are used safely and correctly cared for and maintained
  4. Assemble/disassemble different types of bicycles
  5. Perform crank arm replacement, change derailleurs, overhaul headsets, check and replace chains
  6. Mount, wax, and tune skis and snowboards
Required Skills And Knowledge
  1. Mechanically inclined; you enjoy fixing and repairing things
  2. Previous experience working in a bike shop and/or repairing and servicing skis and snowboards
  3. Passion for sports and a drive to inspire others to be active
Educational Level
  • High school education or current enrollment in high school
Experience Level
  • Intermediate
