Job summary

Glass Canada is seeking a Service Technician to ensure precise installation of showers, railings, and glass materials across multiple job sites. You will handle and install glass and mirror products, including custom railing systems, while maintaining safety and delivering quality workmanship.

As part of a field service installation team, you will join a diverse group that values craftsmanship, reliability, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in glass, glazing, doors and/or windows is a plus.
• Comfort with handheld tools or willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install showers, railings, and glass materials with care and precision.
• Lift and install glass and mirror products.
• Install custom glass railing systems and accessories.
• Review and complete service work orders.
• Load glass products and parts safely onto service vehicle.
• Use hand tools to perform various duties.
• Travel to multiple job sites daily using company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring precise installation of showers, railings, and glass materials, delivering exceptionalcraftsmanship and attention to detail. They safely handle and install glass and mirror products, including custom railing systems, while diligently completing service orders.

As a member of the Field Service Installation team and as a new Glass Canada family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install showers, railings, and glass materials with extreme care and precision
• Lift and install glass and mirror products
• Install custom glass railing systems and accessories
• Review and complete service work orders
• Load glass products and parts safely onto service vehicle
• Use hand tools to perform various duties
• Travel to multiple job sites daily using company vehicle provided
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Experience working in glass, glazing, doors and/or windows considered an asset
• Experience and comfortable working with handheld tools, or desire to learn
• Working at Heights certificate an asset
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Comfortable working at heights and in various environments (indoor/outdoor job sites)
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling delicate materials
• Stamina to perform physical labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
