Sporting Life in Canada is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair bicycles, skis and snowboards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will assemble, diagnose and service equipment, provide expert advice, complete documentation, and help customers choose maintenance solutions in a fast-paced retail setting. A passion for sport, strong communication, and independence are valued, with training opportunities to grow technical skills.

Formación

• Customer service and technical repair experience.

What You’ll Do;

The Service Technicianactively contributes to service standards of the department to ensure that all product and sales goals are achieved through the conscientious application of Sporting Life merchandising standards.

• Assemble, disassemble, and service a variety of bicycles, skis, and snowboards.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure safety, performance, and longevity.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to customers, helping them make informed decisions about maintenance and repairs.
• Deliver a fantastic customer service experience by building trust and offering tailored solutions.
• Complete all required documentation before returning equipment to customers.

What You’ll Bring;

• Enthusiasm for excellent customer service
• Ability to provide excellent technical service (i.e. racquet stringing and service; ski tuning and repair; binding, mounting, and inspection; and in-line skate maintenance; bike building, tuning, and repair)
• High standard of professionalism
• Enthusiasm for serving public ensuring that all customers are cared for equally and in accordance with Sporting Life standards.
• Excellent communication and organization skills

• A self-starter who works well independently
