Job summary

Bar W Petroleum & Electric in Western Canada seeks a Service Technician to perform electronic and mechanical repairs, install and maintain fuel dispensing equipment, and service car wash equipment. You will work both at our facilities and on-site with customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years mechanical/petroleum troubleshooting experience, CPCA PM1 certification, and a valid Class 5 license. Strong communication and a commitment to safe, quality service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical and petroleum troubleshooting.
• CPCA PM1 Training certification required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to operate software applications including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic and mechanical repairs, both on-site and in-house.
• Perform installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment.
• Service car wash operating equipment at various locations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and handle service calls effectively.
• Contribute ideas for operational and technical improvements.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of our team performing both electronic and mechanical repairs. Working closely with the customers and applying Bar W processes and regulations, you will work both at our facilities and on-site at customer locations.

Our technicians specialize in the Retail/Commercial Gas Stations, Cardlock/Bulk Petroleum sites, Carwashes, and Commercial/Industrial Electrical Services for Maitenance and Construction in Western Canada, Yukon, and NWT.

What will you be doing?

• Conduct electronic and mechanical repairs, both on-site and in-house as part of the Service Technician job description.
• Perform installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment, focusing on petrol pump service technician tasks.
• Service car wash operating equipment at various locations.

• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

What is the work schedule?
