Job summary

Wainbee Limited in Canada is hiring a Service Technician to perform assemblies, install and commission hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and provide on-site troubleshooting. The role requires hands-on skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to diagnose complex problems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Must be able to travel to customer sites up to 100% of the time.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Technical training and knowledge of industrial products are assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units.
• Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic panels.
• Perform internal and external repairs and provide on-site troubleshooting.
• Diagnose problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspection and preventative maintenance services.
• Install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Fabricate and install tubing and hoses at customer plant.
• Follow company processes for service calls, repairs, and warranty claims with proper documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and product advice to customers.
• Educate customers about products and propose system modifications.
• Build trust and develop relationships with clients.
• Coordinate and visit key clients per a strategic schedule.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at Wainbee and client facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units.
• Assembly hydraulic and pneumatic panels.
• Perform internal and external repairs, and provide emergency services and on-site troubleshooting as needed.
• Diagnose problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspection and preventative maintenance services.
• Install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Fabricate and install tubing and hoses at customer plant.
• Follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty claims, including proper documentation in our system.
• Provide technical assistance, product advice to customers.
• Educate customers about products and provide recommendations for system modifications.
• Build trust and develop relationships with clients.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• 2 years and more of experience in industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic schematics is an asset.
• Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products are an asset.
• Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to bend, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and work in awkward positions for extended periods
• Must be able to use hand tools and have their own tools for the shop.
• Must be able to travel to the customer site up to 100% of the time, including interprovincial travel as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Travel to the customer site.
