Job summary

Hammond Air Conditioning in Ingersoll is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning (A/C) Technician to service and install A/C systems on heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, and trucks. The role requires diagnostic work and strong mechanical knowledge as you travel to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and hands-on skills with HVAC systems. We offer health benefits and opportunities for on-site and field work in Ontario.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in field service or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Knowledge of A/C systems on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform A/C service on heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, and highway trucks
• Conduct diagnostics to make effective repairs
• Install A/C systems on heavy equipment and trucks
• Assemble A/C systems prior to installation
• Willing to travel and work on the road when required
• Maintain accurate paperwork and customer records
• Operate hand tools, grinders, soldering torch, lathe
• Fabrications skills an asset
• Possess mechanical knowledge of vehicles
• Other duties as required

Hammond Air Conditioning manufactures air conditioning systems and sells parts for the heavy equipment, heavy truck, mining, marine and agriculture industries. The successful candidate should have air conditioning and mechanical knowledge.
