Day in the Life

As a service technician at Grill Hero, you’ll be on the front lines delivering professional cleaning services that uphold our reputation as the top grill cleaning and servicing company in North America. You’ll interact directly with customers, provide exceptional service, and identify opportunities to enhance their experience through upselling and rebooking. This entry-level technician role offers hands-on training and opportunities for rapid growth within the company.

What We Expect :

Core Responsibilities

• Perform professional cleaning services for barbecues, ovens, and add-ons following our proven standard operating procedures.
• Provide a friendly and professional experience for all customers.
• Local marketing & sales responsibilities.
• Upselling & Rebooking :
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Encourage customers to rebook appointments for ongoing maintenance.
• Compliance :
• Follow all company guidelines, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after each job.
• Your role is empowered to follow the company escalation process appropriate to your role.
• Delivering excellent service while maintaining high safety standards.
• Building strong relationships with customers through professionalism and empathy.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and encouraging rebooking to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Adapting to dynamic situations with a problem-solving mindset.
• Following company standards and processes diligently.
• Dealing with ambiguity effectively.

Qualifications :

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of technical experience or aptitude is an asset but not required (training provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow core processes and procedures.

Job Type

Compensation :

• Starting at $18-$20 / hr + Tips + Incentives based on performance (most earn $22-$26 / hr).
• Performance bonuses and incentives.
• Tips.
• Mileage during operations is reimbursed on top of hourly pay.
