e-STORAGE in Ontario is seeking a Service Technician to commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block systems at client sites across Ontario. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support LTSA obligations, and travel to project sites as required.

The role requires an electrical engineering background and 2+ years in a service environment, with knowledge of MV power systems and energy storage.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years' of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality
• Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
• Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)

In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB).
