Job summary

Sport Chek is seeking a Service Shop Technician in Canada to service and repair ski and snowboard equipment while delivering a top-tier customer experience. You will assemble, mount, wax, and tune gear and help athletes return to action with safety and manufacturer standards in mind.

The role emphasizes hands-on gear maintenance and customer service, with a compensation range that reflects experience and location within our store network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of previous work experience in a ski/snowboard shop.
• Some, Intermediate, or Advanced experience working on skis or snowboards.
• Previous ski, snowboard experience.

As a Service Shop Technician, you're as good with people as you are with your hands. After all, it's your job to interact with customers, assess your needs, and then setup, repair, and maintain their sporting equipment. In helping athletes get back to living "The Power of Sport", all safety measures will be taken to ensure their equipment is serviced to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Our typical hiring range is between $18.85 and $26.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
