Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking a Service Operator II to support completion tools installation at well sites. This entry-level role is designed to develop skills toward a Service Specialist position, with hands-on work on pre-job prep, installation, and post-job activities.

You will learn HMS processes, participate in safety briefings, and contribute to accurate paperwork and site communications in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class 5 Non-GDL driver's license required with ability to provide a copy of the driver's abstract.
• Experience in Completion Tools required.
• Experience installing Liner Hanger and Tie Back Assemblies highly preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
• Basic reading and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Development position with potential to advance to Service Specialist.
• Gains knowledge of HMS processes and pre-job review to understand scope and tools.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Under direct supervision, assists the Service Specialist in installing well completion products.
• Assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilization) and product installation at the well site.
• Assists with post-job mobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products.
• Completes all well site and post-job paperwork.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all third party well site activities that could impact the process of installing completions products.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to HSE related activities - site assessments and risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, PPE use, documentation, etc.
• Given the nature of oil field service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success.
• Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member.

Qualifications

• This is a development position with the expectation that all Service Operators will advance to the Service Specialist position.
• Develops all remaining skills required to be able to provide the least complex completion products and services at the customers' well sites without direct supervision.
• Develops and demonstrates a working knowledge of local completions HMS processes.
• Develops and demonstrates the ability to perform the pre-job review of the job design to understand the total job scope, the desired result and the processes and tools to achieve success.
