Inland Truck & Equipment, Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department within a busy dealership. The role focuses on profitability, staffing productivity, customer retention, and maintaining service records.

It requires managing hours, quotes, and ensuring quality repairs while keeping costs in line with objectives. The position is full-time, on-site in Burnaby with a salary range of CAD 100,000–120,000 plus experience-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; trades certification or college diploma preferred.
• Experience leading a service department or similar team is expected.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Monitor department performance with reports and surveys and control costs.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Supervise service staff and ensure timely, quality repairs and safe operations.
