Job summary

Unified Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Service & Installation Manager to lead field technicians and oversee daily operations for electronic security systems. You will manage project schedules, ensure high-quality installations, and drive exceptional customer service across CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems.

Occasional travel throughout BC for project inspections and sign offs is required. This on-site role has no remote work option.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in the low-voltage or electronic security industry.
  • Strong technical background in IP CCTV, cloud/hosted Access Control, and commercial Alarm systems.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, technician routing, and project workflows.
  • Excellent client-facing and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Proven management experience leading medium to large-scale projects.

  • Operations & Delivery: Oversee project execution from handoff to completion, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct job site audits to maintain code compliance, technical excellence, and safety standards.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the escalated point of contact for complex technical issues and client inquiries.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate equipment procurement, inventory tracking, and subcontractor scheduling.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Service & Installation Manager to lead our field technicians and oversee daily operations for electronic security systems. You will manage project schedules, ensure high-quality installations, and drive exceptional customer service across CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems. Occasional travel throughout BC for project inspections and sign offs is required. This position is an on site role and there will be no opportunity for remote work from home.

Key Responsibilities

Preference will be given to those who possess one or more of the following qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Valid TQ/FSR designation for Security Alarm
