Job description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Sudbury. The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in the Sudbury Branch as a key contributor in superior customer service as a primary contact for internal and external customers.

In a typical day, YOU will:

  • Ensure timely and professional handling of customers, invoice inquiries and any otherissues
  • Collaborate with Product Support Manager to ensure effective resolutions
  • Process and manage WIP (work in progress) to ensure timely invoicing within cycle deadlines
  • Implement processes required for WIP operations to ensure objectives are achieved/exceeded
  • Ensure all work order documentation is in order and filed accordingly
  • Process warranty work and associate Time Requirement Guides (TRG’s) for the Truck Service
  • Process and submit Goodwill Claims
  • Monitor, track and manage warranty analysis reports and claims to CAT including rejected claims
  • Manage local purchases to ensure proper allocation and alignment with pricing as quoted
  • Monitor maintenance contract variance, associated expenses and labour recap prior to payroll submissions
  • Manage operational metrics as determined by key service indicators
  • Participate in safe work and environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Program(s) and best practices

Must-haves for this role:

  • Minimum post-secondary education
  • Technical experience
