Job summary

Saskatoon Motor Products, part of the AutoCanada dealership network, is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Saskatoon team. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience by estimating repairs, preparing repair orders, and liaising with technicians to ensure quality service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dealership experience in a Service Advisor role, automotive knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role.
• CDK experience is an asset.
• Automotive knowledge.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many priorities.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to remain calm when customers and/or situations are not.

Responsibilities

• Estimate the cost and time for repairs.

Your area of focus.

We are looking foranexperienced Service Advisor who is passionate about deliveringan exceptional customer experience to join our growing team! We're lookingfor a friendly and motivational individual to fill this position. You willplay a key role in curating the service experience for our valued clients whochoose to service their vehicles at our dealership.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
• Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
• Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labor into consideration.
• Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
• Connecting customers to the right auto technician
• Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers’ vehicle is repaired as needed.
• Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $50,000 – $70,000 Commission — No base. This position is entirely commission-based and the expected compensation range reflects potential earnings based on historical performance and market conditions. Actual earnings will vary depending on individual performance, sales results, and other factors. No minimum or guaranteed level compensation is provided.
