Job summary

Saskatoon Motor Products, part of the AutoCanada dealership network, is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will estimate costs, discuss needs with customers, answer inquiries, and prepare repair orders for vehicles serviced at our Saskatoon dealership.

The role requires at least 2 years in a Service Advisor position, with CDK experience considered an asset. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain calm in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with technology and repair workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs and time for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcome customers and discuss their needs.
• Answer inquiries in person or by phone.
• Develop repair estimates considering materials, supplies, and labor.
• Prepare repair orders detailing problems or symptoms.
• Coordinate customers with the right technician.
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs are completed.

Your area of focus.

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience to join our growing team! We're looking for a friendly and motivational individual to fill this position. You will play a key role in curating the service experience for our valued clients who choose to service their vehicles at our dealership.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
• Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
• Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labor into consideration.
• Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
• Connecting customers to the right auto technician
• Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers’ vehicle is repaired as needed.
• Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

What arethe must-haves…

• Minimum of 2-year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role required
• CDK experience is an asset
