Job summary

Maple Toyota, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join the team. The role involves frontline customer communication, selling maintenance services, and coordinating with technicians.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of CAD 20–22, based on experience, with full-time hours and benefits. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in service/advisor roles, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Reynolds) and CRM platforms.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in automotive or dealership setting.
• Secondary School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Reynolds) and CRM platforms.
• Ability to sell vehicle maintenance and upsell services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance.
• Liaise between customers and service technicians.
• Explain maintenance needs and costs.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance importance.
• Schedule appointments and provide status updates.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

The expected pay rate for this role is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:

• sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
• serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
• explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
• advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
• schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
• accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

About you….

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
• ability to sell vehicle maintenance
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
